Unified flag team plays at Highmark Stadium | News, Sports, Jobs – Evening Observer

Fredonia High School’s unified flag football team, the Blitzing Billies, coached by Ron Duliba, participated in the 2024 Special Olympics Buffalo Bowl on Saturday at Highmark Stadium. The 12-student team competed in the High School 1 Division, playing a total of three games. The Billies tied their first game against the Cheektowaga Warriors, lost their second game to Iroquois United, but finished strong with a win in their third game against Lancaster United. The Blitzing Billies were sponsored this year by Nestle Purina Dunkirk. Other donations made to the team include: United Rentals, The Fredonia Teachers Association and Hae Jude Custom Signs & Apparel.
